The Annual PopDev Media Awards was conceived in 2005 to pay tribute to outstanding and responsible journalism on population and development during the year.
It stems from PLCPD’s recognition of the important role that mass media plays in promoting awareness on the many faces of population and human development not just among legislators, but also the community as a whole.
Now on its 4th year, the Awards is being conducted with the support of the United Nations Population Fund and organizations that are experts in the field of population and development, and in journalism.
